The dream begins with me and my family. It's not the family I know in my waking life and I am not truly even the me I know from my waking life. However, I still understand them to be my family and I feel the love we share. Me and my brother are both royalty and we are extremely fit and going through training for an upcoming marathon. The dream spans over a few months and details are added such as the route of the marathon and that we are participating for some type of charity that my wife has agreed to represent, and the journey we go through to prepare. On the day of the race I am standing with my wife and my brother beforehand and we are discussing our good lucks and so forth and she tells me how happy she is that I am wearing the symbol of our house for the race. I look down and see that I am wearing nothing except for tight running shorts, not even with shoes. I don't know why but I reach up to scratch my back and find that I am also wearing black wings that are somehow attached directly to my back. I then am flushed with a feeling of joy and I bend down to kiss my wife before heading to the starting line. Once there I begin to take in the vast amount and diversity of the people who are joining me. While distracted by this I somehow miss the sound of the starting gun and people start running ahead of me. I turn and leap to all fours just to pick up distance and once I close the span between me and the lead I go back to just my feet again and easily hold what I have gained. With amazing speed, maybe forty mph or so, the race carried on and everyone acted as though it was normal to move so fast so I put it to the back of my mind. As we ran, my brother was behind me and looked very comfortable with his position in the race and I carried on a rather enjoyable conversation with an indian man (from india, not Native American) and as we conversed we reached a deciding point in our path in the form of a tunnel that came to a fork. I knew that both paths led to the same destination and the only difference was the one on the left was thinner and steeper whilst the one on the right was wide and a comfortable but a longer run. As I came upon the turn I prepared myself to slide into it and take the left turn. At this point I woke up, my heart pounding as though I was still running, and my body sore like I had actually gone through it all for real.
