My Husband Drowned And Is Eaten By A Giant Sea Turtle | Sea Turtles Dream Interpretations
Dreams can provide insight into our deepest thoughts. Using dream interpretation to explore dream symbols and uncover a dream's meaning can lead to a better understanding of ourselves.
In this dream my husband, 78 years and I 48 years seem to be at a beautiful resort. We are sitting on a deck but he is relaxing in the executive chair. It also reclines and I always chide my husband about this position because I don't want him to fall over. He has Parkinsonism, you see. he can be unsteady at times and is capable of walking. I am sitting in his lap facing him. I am telling him how much I love him..."This is just like it should be, I say, We are so happy". He is very ralaxed and he is smiling from ear to ear. I go get us something to drink. [No alcolhol] Upon my return to the deck I see him, but he is in clear and beautiful blue/greenish water in the ocean....just floating. I'm yelling for someone to help him because I can't swim.
As I'm yelling and screaming here comes a giant sea turtle. He seems to lift my husband to his mouth, but before this happens. My husband seems to swim beside
the Sea Turtle althoguh he is obviously dead now. Finally the seat turtle lifts him toward his mouth and totally engulfs my husband's body....There is no blood anywhere and this Giant Sea Turtle swims on. I hear someone say in the background...This just doesn't happen...sea turtles Do't eat human beings. I start to cry but I somehow know that this was meant to be. Those gathered around recover the chair from the oceanand it there was a silver mechanism that had been bent beyond repair. I looked at the cahir and fixed the silver mechanism and threw it back in the ocean. I didn't want to look at it anymore. I ask myself why did I want to fix the chair that killed my husband? This is how he tumbled into the sea. Why didn't I check the chair? Iask myself. Maybe I shouldn't have sat in his lap? I blame myself although I know that this wan't my fault? Did my husband attempt to get up and lost his balance or did he recline too far back? I am saddened but somehow releived that he is with the Giant Sea Turtle because I noted that he swam with him before he was eaten. There is no body to recover. I sak authorities to please not kill or harm the Giant Sea Turtle in any way, because this was my husbands choice I am no longer saddened by what occurred. All that occured was the security camera at this resort. It bothers me that I fixed the chair and threw the chair back into the beautiful blue beautffil greenish water. My husband loved this chair, if after fixing it why didn't I just keep it? I'm afraid that I'd get into trouble bacause I fixed it and gave it back to the ocean for my husband to decline in. Please explain the indepth meaning of this dream. I understand some of the dream, but not others.
I'm not an expert at dream interpretation but in some cultures the turtle represents the earth (or carries the earth on it's back.) Not sure where the sea part comes in except that some scientists now believe we originally came from the sea so perhaps your husband was returning to the place he originated. Some also see the sea (or water) as soothing and healing. Hope this helps you interpret the dream for yourself. Good luck and I wish you both well.
