I am in my house (but not my real house), and I'm blowing my nose. I have regular allergies and sinus problems, so it's not uncommon in this dream. All of a sudden, I start pulling at a tape, and as I continue to pull it out of my nose, I realize it is quite long. As I keep pulling, I notice that the "tape" has a design on it, triangles, lines, etc. I'm very interested in the lines and think, this is kind of like a snake. I'm confused but continue to pull. When I get the last bit out, I leave it on the floor but I'm looking at it, trying to figure out how all of that was in my sinuses! I remember feeling my forehead in the dream, and breathing in deeply and feeling how nice it was to have that gone from my nose - I could breath clearly! I was happy and hoped that the clear sinuses would be here to stay. Suddenly, the tape on the floor starts to move and I realize it's a snake. I remember thinking clearly that I needed to get a bit of the snake to show my doctor for analysis, but I'm afraid to touch it. As it starts slithering away, I am trying to figure out how I can get a piece of it. I follow it as it slithers from one room into the kitchen, and then it disappears behind the oven, and I know I've lost it forever. At no point in the dream did I feel like I was in danger. In fact, the snake was quite passive and it was like I wasn't even there. I was afraid to disturb it in case it got agitated and decided to bite me.
Weird i had the exact same dream last night but do not suffer with sinus problems however lately i have noticed my sense of smell has diminished. As i was pulling the snake out i found a sense of relief. Can anybody help with this dream please. Unusual for me to have a same dream as somebody else about pulling a snake out of my nose. I am assuming it could be getting rid of something?. x
