Last night I had a dream that the first molar on the top right side of my mouth was in excruciating intense pain. The pain was so awful, all I could do was clench my teeth and wince. It was odd in that when I clenched my teeth, it did seem to help the one tooth, but then the pain would return, but worse. None of my teeth cracked or broke, but I was clenching my jaw as tight as I could.

People kept saying, "If you clench your teeth like that, it'll just make it worse!" I can't recall who any of those people were, but it seems they were familiar to me. I think I saw my brother and a few co-workers. Regardless, I could not stop clenching my teeth.

I continued through the day like normal, in that I'm not sure what events occurred next in the dream, but it seemed that everything else was going as it should, except for the pain in my face. A few times I collapsed to the ground and just lay there in agony at my inability to do anything about this tooth.

Then for some weird random reason, I am in an apartment colored in a dark blood red, having a very "old timey" feel. The wood is a dark cherry possibly, but the chairs are covered in a plush red velvet. I am drawn to sit in them. Minimal lighting, but not so much that I have to strain to see. There is a squat, fat woman dressed in an ominous black get up, it looks to be a ball room dress almost, and I find it to be a bit too revealing; adorned with many leather straps. and random metal appendages, sitting on a stool holding a syringe.

I do not know this lady, although there is something about her face that is familiar, she could be someone I have met in the past, but then again, there is not much recognition on my part.

Regardless, she offers the syringe and states it will help numb the pain. I ask what is in it, she points to a dresser littered with all sorts of garbage, as best I recall, there were some redish pills on a silver tray. The type of tray that you would see at your grandmother's tea parties. This sets upon a crocheted white lace...thing, that's laying on the top, now wrinkled to the side as a black, beat up, leather purse, a pack of Marlboro cigarettes, keys, and some make up have been placed on the dresser seemingly in a rushed fasion.

I look at her confused, "I don't know what that is."

"Oxycotin." She replies.

I have seen oxycotin in my days, and what I saw wasn't what I had seen. But I am in pain, I just want it to stop. Still, I don't know this woman, and am not sure why I am here.

I did not take the needle, and I left the room. It was right about then that I woke up.

I don't have problems with that tooth, and it seems fine now. The tooth pain in and of itself was strange, but the random fat lady in a black dress (some would say she looked like she worked at Hot Topic, perhaps you could say she was gothic, regardless her skin was very pastey) wanting me to shoot up prescription meds (something I don't do, haven't done, and don't plan on ever doing) was really really strange to me.
