|  The dream started with me sneaking up on some friends of mine who were at a house party on a river. I knew that we had all rented the house for the weekend, where we could hang out and party/relax, but in my dream I was under the impression that my friends would be suprised to see me. I started doing an army crawl up to some old tweed boats and I thought it would be a great prank to cruise up to the houes on one of the boats. I was giggly thinking about it. When I went to untie one of the ropes holding the boat to the side of the river, an alarm started to sound. A man who was the neighbor of the house became angry because he thought I was going to steal his boat. I only wanted to borrow it for the prank and had no intention of stealing.
When my cover was blown, I walked up to the house smiling and laughing that my prank fell through. I only recognized one face in the crowd but I seemed to know everyone who was there. Everyone was welcoming.
The dream switched and it was morning. I went to the bathroom to take a shower and get ready for my day. When I was in bathroom I took off my clothes and looked in the mirror. There was a mirror behind me so I could see my back. When I looked at my back it looked like I had a small towel drapped over my shoulders. I looked closer and it appeared that I had wings! They were small white wings that were growing out of my shoulders. When I tried to see them without looking in the mirror I could not.. they were invisible unless you were looking in the mirror. I became excited and a little scared, but mostly curious about the wings. Just then a voice that was not audible, I could just hear it in my head said "go ahead and try them." I flexed the muscles in my back and the wings stretched open. I flexed some more and the wings started to flap. The voice said "you have got your wings. They are new and fragile. Take care of them because they will grow." Then I was encouraged to try and lift my body off the ground for practice. I flapped the wings and was able to get my body up, and actually sit cross legged in the air for a couple of minutes. The voice was proud of me and told me to be sure to stretch, that the wings needed to harden.
I left the bathroom energized, excited and wanting to share my experience with others. I wanted to find my girlfriend and tell her about the experience but she was nowhere... she hadn't got to the vacation house yet. I went into the kitchen, poured myself a cup of coffee and realized that nobody else could see my wings.
I woke up after that and felt like I had been exercising my back muscles all night. The dream was very lucid and was one of the most real dreams I have ever had! I would love to know what it means... |
