you have to stay 100% positive. when your soldier calls or writes that is what he is living on is your love and support. being negative will only make you miserable, just think of when he gets back and dont think of how long you have.Flag Inappropriate How-To

It is hard, and not very many people understand. Try to connect with people in your area or state who are also in a relationship with someone in the military. It's a good way to feel supported and you don't feel as lonely!! =] Stay strong military girls!Flag Inappropriate How-To

Patience is a virtue! Drills, Ats, deployments are all hard to deal with by yourself. Keep busy whille he's gone and when he's home try to have as much fun and enjoy eachothers company! :]Flag Inappropriate How-To

PATIENCE AND TRUST!! I can not stress that enough. Know that the military is a 24/7. If he's busy or away it's not because he wants to be, it's because he has too. This is not a relationship for the weak/needy, you could spend ALOT of time apart.Flag Inappropriate How-To
