Edit, rethink, recreate-but not too much.Once your thoughts are out in the first chaotic spin of inspiration, take a break. When you feel clear headed, relook at your poetry. Does it convey what you want it to?Does it flow?Could you say something better?Flag Inappropriate How-To

Don't think, just write. Don't worry about form, or what your audience might think. It's more important to get your thoughts down. If you write it the way it comes, the right people to read it will. Something like 'if you build it, they will come.'Flag Inappropriate How-To
