I'm not saying she's stupid, or a "bimbo". I'm just stating that she is unqualified for the VP pick (the second highest office in the country). And she is definately unqualified to be the next president, which if Sen McCain wins, she could possibly be. Her values are good, as well as her intentions. Maybe she just needs to come back after 20 years. Maybe after she gets a little more education and more knowledge in public policies. I probably won't vote for. Maybe someone will. I definately won't vote for now. I want a smart, knowledgeable person in the White House. I only have confidence in Sen McCain in foreign policy, none other. I definately don't have any confidence in Gov Palin. Maverick, I'm not sure of, but I'm voting for Sen Obama and Sen Biden.

I find it interesting that so many people call this strong, smart woman who has so many accomplishments a "bimbo". How much experience does Obama have in foreign government along with military experience. This is a man that wants us to vote for him to be our Commander in Chief, yet he is only present when he is in Senate. I don't understand why people would cast aside facts that are very disturbing and look for excuses to detract from the severity of the facts, which endangers everyone, i.e., Bill Ayers, Obama's Rev. and Obama himself. Why justify bad behavior or associates with comparisons that are either fictitious or not even close in relevance. People need to think of the consequences of their decisions. It's not about what is best for you and the people you are personally involved with, but what is best for the country. People need to stop looking ONLY at the liberal media reports and do FACT checking. A strong country helps provide opportunity for all American citizens!

Chaser, good for you! I had lost hope that the people who visit these websites in an attempt to gain more "knowledge" of the candidates could actually form a thought on their own! I have been proven wrong in this assumption, thank God! Stop drinking the liberal kool-aid, folks. We are not sheep, and we are not SOCIALISTS!! Sarah Palin is a breath of fresh air--and quite experienced! I read a post on this site about her inexperience as "only a mayor of a small town". Of course, there was no mention that she is the Governor of the most oil-rich state in the U.S. The sad fact is, Sarah Palin has more real experience than the democrat's presidential nominee. She has actually made a positive impact where she has been a leader, taking on Exxon, as Chaser mentioned, and also trimming the fat from her state's budget. Obama, on the other hand, panders to whoever is listening at that time, and has voted "present" on over 100 issues instead of taking a position! In a day when a large number of politicians seem to have forgotten that they are supposed to be working for us, Sarah Palin has been removed from D.C. and has not been corrupted by the "values" of those who have instead chosen to serve themselves. She's a breath of fresh air, and kkitty needs to give women a little more credit than that. I tell you what, you go on and listen to the rantings of such out-of-touch morons as Sandra Bernhardt and Rosie O'Donnell, and I'll go on living in the real world...where people should be rewarded for working hard instead of hardly working, where we should choose leaders who believe that our security and the security of our allies is more important than having tea time with terrorists, where our hard-earned money benefits our own families first instead of being handed out to those who refuse to work or are here illegally, and where we don't have to take a number for healthcare. Sarah Palin values the things I value, and she has more executive experience than Obama or Biden. A vote for McCain/Palin is a vote for reform. I won't use the word "change" here. Change can be good or bad, and Obama's message of change stands for: higher business tax (which the consumer pays for in the end...so don't think that the 95% of the middle class who will supposedly benefit from his tax plan will win here), no vouchers for schools (though I'm sure if his kids were in public schools, he'd rethink that position), buddying up to terrorists (nothing new here...Bill Ayers), increased spending, and the continued decline of our economy--to name a few. Sarah Palin no longer sounds like the idiot here...because she can actually see through the propoganda that would have you believe otherwise.

I cant get over how worthless with time this Obama jerk has evolved into. He is impotent and even more the irony of FINALLY having an informed, intelligent, accomplished woman whose record while in office is success upon success - far greater than anything Obummer can ever dream of ! And yet, her attributes and traits which are far beyond what feminists have been attempting to achieve recognition for themselves, roast Sarah Palin instead. You women can do our nation some good by gathering behind Palin rather than reliving the Roman senates stabbing of Caesar to death - then of course Rome fell - not to an army but to its diseased decadence! You dont take on Exxon if you are a loony. Sarah Palin just happens to be a real honest to goodness smart and tough WOMAN and you idiots fear her or cannot recognize that. By the way leadership is not defined by how many years one can hide his miserable past either.. However, Obamas past together with his current methods of trying to win an election through the lowest means possible - Voter Registration fraud is not leadership - ten bucks this man ends up behind bars! And you want to waste your vote on a person who for two years is no more than a fart in a strong wind? Its a no-brainer to be a Liberal, let the government do your thinking for you. It takes courage, guts under fire a strong record of honest service and a string of successive accomplishments such as both Sarah Palin and John McCain have demonstrated. Its a win for America if you vote for a REAL woman! But then this generation of children reared by liberal horse manure since preschool doesnt know how to win! So I hope that you can afford paying the taxes that Obummer is about to dump on your heads. You dont vote for a candidate because he is a complete idiot either so dont waste your votes! As for advancing women in politics, we need a president/ vice-president who happens to be a woman not a woman for president/ vice president. relax BonnieWalker. it's just entertainment. And besides, it was funny. Sarah Palin doesn't know the frist thing to running a country. It's apparent every time you hear her speak. The only thing she's concerned with is her own self image and making her fat pockets fatter. As with the rest of the republican party. God didn't do this to the United States. The last president did it!!!! If you remember correctly, we had a Democrat in office 8 years ago. And in his term, he was able to ERASE the national deficit, we were not at war, poverty levels were low, fewer people were on government assistance programs, and WE STILL HAD OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS!!!!! ALL of that was lost when a republican reached office. In 8 years, he mannaged to send us to war, jack the deficit up to $9.7TRILLION, put us into a recession, and enact the Patriot Act, which takes our constitutional rights AWAY!!! So remember that when you are standing in line at the poles!! GOD help those who think like you!!

It's all Hollywood hype - but appreciate that they portrayed Hilarious Hillary for what she is. I'm glad that Sarah went on SNL last week for the free air time, but am more than annoyed and sickened by the comment from a previous show that equated Trig's Down Syndrome from inbreeding. There are some lines you just don't cross and are what I call "liberal perversion politics" and are the most beneath scum utterings that you come to expect from that party. I pray that the Lord gives this country the leadership that it deserves - if we are so degenerated to the point of no return, then so be it - we may find our country saddled with a President that compromises the killing of unborn life & beyond. This is a cornerstone issue & may God help us all!

I didn't know much about Palin. I heard she wasn't too bright. That McKain got her for the female vote. I watched her on saturday Nite Live and was amused. At first I thought it was really her. The next day I saw a magazine about her and I was amazed about the great job she did in Alaska. She's not afraid to step on toes. And I believe she is for the people. I believe there is a place for her in washington and that she could help our economy.

WOW!! I watched the SNL scetch first, before I saw this one. And I can't believe that you can't tell the difference between the real and the fake!! How in the world can anyone actually think that this woman is able to do the job she has been nominated. She can't even form a sentence, or answer a question. Reminds me of someone else who's in office right now. Give you a hint, his name rymes with "tush".

Okay...Can anyone say they know more than her on all the issues? You can tell she was nervous and I have to admit it shows. Overall I still like her and feel she would be an excellent Vice-President. We hold these candidates to an almost unreachable standard and when they fail to reach it we degrade them. Let's be honest with ourselves and see she is just like you and me.

You aren't going to learn much about her in EIGHT WEEKS? Well then you obviously are not even going to try. She has been in government WAY longer than Obama, so the experience should not be an issue. Matt you are right on! The scariest thing about this election is that there might be a chance that Palin could become the president. I just can't understand anyone who could believe that she should be in the White House-in any position! I agree that Gov Sarah Palin does not know a lot to be the next president. And lets face, she just might if Sen McCain is elected. GOD could come down any day in the next 4 years and say "it's time to go home, johnnyboy." For goodness sakes, I know everybody wants a fresh face in Washington, but she only has a degree in journalism. And her only experience is mayoring a small town in Alaska. I understand she is good-looking, but not very bright in the eyes of the world looking in on the Americans. We look like a bunch of Dumbasses, even dumber than Palin, if we elect her. And for that, if we do elect the McCain/Palin ticket, I guess we are the Dumbest Country in the World.

I am terrified that this woman could potentially become president or to be honest even vice president. Our image abroad is despicable as it is without Sarah Palin winking at Vladamir Putin. Don't get me wrong I would love to see a woman president, but please give women some credit in terms of their choices. It depends on the woman! Sarah is Palin in comparison to the Obama/Biden ticket in my mind. I would like someone who could at least lie about the newspapers she has read.

How can anyone think that this woman is a good pick for VP? SHe should be put on that show "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?" Seriously, she has the brains of a knat. Someone (I nominate Kattie) should ask her simple American History questions. She almost certainly would fail. I own a ranch in Colorado, I rangle cattle, ride horses, hunt elk and live in a prodomanately Mexican rural area. Does that qualify ME to be the next VP?!

When watching some of Obama's speeches, I think he would make a great stand-up comedian! I think of myself as intelligent and professional, but I have a sense of humor and wrote "Baby Got Bag" for my office's Christmas party last year! Rap music is funny. Can't someone be ambitious, beautiful, AND funny without other's jealousy tearing them apart? I think she is fabulous, and there will be parts of the world who hate us no matter if we have a complete dud for a VP or not.

When i walk into the bank, the last thing i would expect to see is a clown backflipping towards me, juggling and giggling while telling me the sorrowful state of my finances. Fair point? No lesser is my expectation of any politician whose purpose is to represent the masses of the west to which if i may remind you all, are desperately hated by others not from the west. And this is NOT the answer. A clown-like politician, Sarah Palin, in a time where we need extremely serious, strategic and 'PROFESSIONAL' politicians who can bail us out of this 'new-killer' (as she states, meaning nuclear) age when tensions across the world is on edge and so very rife. What next Mrs Palin and how far the ignorance about your potential future job? Giving Ban-Ki Moon a quick tickle at your next UN meeting? An over 40's front cover naked pose on Vanity Fair? A surprise sausage sandwich lunch for 2 by your administration for you and Mr Ahmedijan? Expect the nuke if she gets in guys...........she hasnt and probably wont get the plot! Sarah, its all about Professionalism dear, not Clownism.
