I've started learning about this and being more assertive, which is firmly balanced between being passive or aggressive.  I do find it hard though, and hopefully will become better at it with practise.

I tend to not say what I'm feeling like I could be thinking
"you bastard how could you!" but it comes out "oh its okay" people are gonna get a piece of my mind from now on !
