In a way hobbit holes feel so English to me, and, being English I think in another life I would like nothing other than living in a snuggly tunnel with a warm Heath, where I could talk about tales of adventure and joy with my friends...

I think that this would be the coolest thing to have, because I could live partially underground, and still not have to give up my creature comforts that I have come to love. Awesome!

If I make a good amount of money (probably through writing), I'd love one. Fortunately, I'll already be living in the mountains, so a hilly landscape is easy to come by. I guess I'll have to find a husband who's as geeky as I am. :)

I've always wanted a home of my own. Nothing fancy so I guess a hobbit house will do. Then with it I'll buy a little mini cooper and maybe I'll get lucky and still find me a beetle car in blue or purple. I think I know what I want for...

It would be perfect if the home were in the middle of a true to life fantasy world. Elves, gnomes, wizards, and the like could visit from time to time, ale would be plentiful, and there would always be an adventure to take on.

I have loved underground homes as long as I could remember.
When I was in HS and had a drafting class I tried to design an underground home. For one they are very green. It would save a lot on heating and cooling...

Just think how wonderful it would be to wake up in your cozy Hobbit-bed, open the window-shutters and let the sunshine in, make the fire in the stove and start preparing the first breakfast. Looking out of the window and watching...

Built into a hillside, with the little circular doors!
My boyfriend looked at me as if I were insane when I told him I wanted a hobbit home.

Yep, that's where I wanna be! No worries and no troubles. Lots of cute hobbits to hang out with. I'm short, so I'm sure I'll be able to fit in ;P
If nothing else, I'd just like to have one of these houses built like in my backyard or...

Unique, organic, environmentally sensitive, low utility bills.
I checked...my local building codes won't allow it.
But still...it's awesome!

I'd like to live in Bag End. Even the height would be OK for me ;)
At night I'd sit by that beautiful fireplace, and during the day I'd be outside playing with hobbit children. And every now and then Gandalf would visit me, and would...
