I Want a Hobbit Home Stories of Experiences

In a way hobbit holes feel so English to me, and, being English I think in another life I would like nothing other than living in a snuggly tunnel with a warm Heath, where I could talk about tales of adventure and joy with my friends...

I think that this would be the coolest thing to have, because I could live partially underground, and still not have to give up my creature comforts that I have come to love. Awesome!

If I make a good amount of money (probably through writing), I'd love one. Fortunately, I'll already be living in the mountains, so a hilly landscape is easy to come by. I guess I'll have to find a husband who's as geeky as I am. :)

It would be perfect if the home were in the middle of a true to life fantasy world.  Elves, gnomes, wizards, and the like could visit from time to time, ale would be plentiful, and there would always be an adventure to take on.

I think living in a hobbit type home might be very cool to do depending where you lived. As long as there were hills I guess that would make sense.  I would add skylights and solar panels for more warmth. It would have to be warm...
