Sitting on the beach on Sanibel Island, watching the dolphins jump and play in the shallows as the sun sets. For me, it's just this side of heaven.

i have seen sunsets and sunrises in many places in my lifetime including Hawaii, Colorado, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maine, New York, Phillipines, and a lot of Europe.  I have seen sunsets over the desert, over water...

the best place for me to watch the sunset is to watch it from work . from the frontend . it is very beautiful where i work . since it is close to the beach .

enjoy from the deck which is the backyard of our home. deck ends onto canal and canal leads straight into the summer sunset.
 
only place better to me is the balcony of my bedroom overlooking the deck overlooking the canal :-)
