Absolutely terrifying.  A needle so sharp, piercing through flesh and through multiple layers of skin to get to where your blood circulates.  Sucking your body's work.  Makes my heart skip a beat like when we hiccup.

You know what horrifies me?! When they are going to draw blood from me, but when I walk into the lab, just seeing all the syringes and test tubes make my skin crawl!
