I Hate Hearing Doors Slam Stories of Experiences

from the time we moved into this house ... all of us have heard the back door slam yet there appears to be no one here in the house.
I have made a point of locking access to down stairs if I am alone

Admittedly it's self-diagnosed, not by any doctor. But from all My years of personal experience, reading, watching stuff on tv and online on the subject, not to mention listening to others with the condition... yeah...

...startled very easily. So I hate loud noises and I hate hearing doors slam.

It's a rude way to wake up, it's a rude way to leave a room, it's a rude way to end a conversation. It's just plain rude and juvenile.

When I was younger and my father was an agressive alcoholic, it was a common occurance to hear doors slamming. It used to send shivers down my spine. Even now when I hear a door slam, it makes me very nervous and fearful, im terrified...
