I too used to feel trapped by religion. After I started college, my mind really opened and became a sponge. I took a world religion course followed by an American History class and became appalled at the things done in the name of religion. And then biology came my way....I fell in love with greats like Darwin and evolution. I began to wonder why science was so taboo....I began to see xians in a new light. It was as though xians used religion as a crutch, the religion dumbed them down.....I am trying to say this: Study, study what you are believing in, do not follow others words, find facts and bases for claims. Would you want a surgeon working on you that never studied but instead just took someone he felt was smart's word for it?....
