I have read the entire Oxford English

Dictionary from cover to cover. It was the 1998 edition, so perhaps in 20 years or so ill read the newest edition, but definitely not again any time soon. I thought it would teach me new words, it did, but obviously I will never remember a great part of them. Was a fun summer...

    So... Of Mice and Men.

A friend of mine tried to tell me that John Steinbeck was overwhelmingly sexist, which is why he didn't give Curly's wife a name. I thought it was supposed to be a sense of irony. Because she wanted nothing more than to be famous. She wanted everyone to know who she was. And...

As a Man Thinketh Quotes (by James Allen)

There is a lot of reading involved in becoming

a rabbi. I have worked through many books. The Torah, the Talmud, various commentaries, the Book of Zohar, and there are more. My Hebrew is much better for it, so there are lots of benefits. You know that Hebrew is the causal sounds used in the creation of the universe.

Nothing like a book for a best friend.

When you are lonely, it is always there for you, ever ready to distract your mind with the millions of things it has to say to you. When you want it to shut up, all you have to do is close it and it shuts up willingly. Waiting for you to pick it up again, to share with you its...
