Yes, my mother is a fantastic mom

and I admire and love her very much. Mom was a pregnant teen just like me. She kept on with school. She finished both high school and college too. She has a great job as a college professor in the study of computer science. I admire her so much and I have the same goals of...

    Survivor

I do admire my mother. She had a rough childhood, generally ignored by her parents and harassed by her brother. She was taught to stifle her emotions; they were a sign of weakness. This avoidance would prove to be a survival tactic for my mother. When my mother was 17, she...

She's my angel and my queen.

She went through more than people living 70 years went through; and i'm not even over exaggerating, she went through a lot. She taught me a lot and she did her best with everything. Her 'best' was her greatest...I could go on and on, but this would turn into a book. And you...

My real mother who is in Heaven is my

inspiration and my strength. She shows me so much love, even though she's passed. She comes around me all the time and she holds me, she lays in bed with me, she watches movies with me, she keeps me remembering God, she disciplines me when I have done something wrong and even...

My Mother had a very controlling Father.

She was forced to marry a Guy she didn't like , my father , and he was emotionally abusive and disrespectful to her. In 1995 they got a divorce. She didn't want to get married again but she did anyway for me. She didn't want me to be an only child and said I deserved to have...

My mother has helped me through a lot.

To be honest, I'm not sure if I would've been alive today if it wasn't for her. I've been through a lot, a lot of struggles and pain in life. My dad has been abusing me for as long as I can remember, and for all that time, my mother has been supporting me and helping me. She...

Due to circumstances, we're not as close as I wish we were--both physically and emotionally. But God, do I love her so much - just the thought of her brings tears to my eyes at times. Despite having barely any food on the table to feed 11 of her own children, she took on 2...
