I Always Prefer the Window Seat

I always need to sit at the window.

One reason is that I get car sick very quickly if I can't look outside. But I also think that the route leading to your destination is important. You don't simply end up somewhere, there is always a place in between (this isn't limited to travelling). Having to look outside all...

    The world passes before you,

It's not even cause i don't want to be

disturbed by getting up for others to get out (although that's an added benefit of window seat). I find myself more relaxed on window seat epically on planes. Anything over 90 mins long on a plane and I get sick of I'm not in a window seat. Learned a few times the hard way

The window seat is a blessing

and a curse. As a person afraid of heights, the view sometimes makes my stomach turn, especially as we're taking out, leaving beautiful earth behind. But then I witness a lightning storm, minuscule amongst the two mile high clouds. I am awed by a sunset that doesn't end for over...

On an airplane, you don't get jostled.

On a train, you're under the aircon, so you don't have to breathed other people's body odour. You can look into the heavens of the countryside... It's calmer on the inner seat!
