When I was in elementary school,

my favorite person was not any of my teachers, not my principal, not my school nurse, but John the custodian (Not his real name). Every day without fail I would find him in the cafeteria or the hallway and tell him about my day and the cool things I was learning. I talked to...

And I feel happy doing so.

I really value appreciation of giving. If someone, willingly or unwillingly fulfils your expectation or extends your vision, I believe their action should be thanked. Rarely, I lose control and repeatedly thank someone as if I am trying to return their favor.

I played one year of football in Jr High School.

I half joke that I was the kind of player who said excuse me whenever I ran into another player!! Needless to say, my football experience was short lived !

I always say thank you to let a person know I

appreciate what they did for me. Everyone should thank each other so others don't think you are taking them for granted.

personally, I think it is only good

and proper etiquette to thank someone who is providing a service to me. I do not like the new 'no problem' replacement for 'you're welcome' though - there was an excellent commentary on CBS Sunday Morning a while back by the movie critic David Edelstein - one of his comments...

For me it´s an act of politeness always to say

thank you. I also educated my son to say always thank you. But many, many kids (and also adults!) in today´s time don´t know how to say thank you.

I Think Saying "thank you" Can Make Someone's Day Better.

It doesn't matter what mood I'm in, it doesn't matter where I am at. I will say "thank you" whenever I feel the situation calls for it. I love the smile or the "you're welcome" that is returned to me. I just feel a warmth inside of me. The kind that can come when you feel you've...

    I always say "Please"

and I always say "Thank You" it's such a simple thing to do and sometimes it makes a difference to the person you are thanking. I also try very hard to be as genuine as possible when asking"Please" and saying "Thank You" If you cant say it and mean it than leave it out.
