I Always Wear My Seatbelt

    That'll Do It.

I was in a car accident two years ago. My mom and I would have both died if it wasn't for seatbelts. I religiously wear mine now. I annoy everyone in the car until they actually put it on, but sometimes all I get is a middle finger and a "**** you, mind your own business"

Not Wearing My Seatbelt Saved My Life!

So back when I newly had my licence (16 1/2 Years old) I drove an old convertible Volkswagen bug. I had stayed out late the night before hanging out with some friends and just being a typical teen. Well I had to get up early the next morning and go play "Special baseball". My Dad...

    2nd Nature

    I always wear a seatbelt so I don't die if I'm involved in a crash. It's the 1st thing I do when I get in a car.

    In Memory.

I always wear my seat-belt. For safety purposes, but also in memory of my first friend. She and her mother died in a car accident, and since then I have always worn my seat-belt. In memory of her, and to keep the promise I made to her father (His daughter and I were so close we...

... Ever since the day I was being a turd

and decided that I didn't want to wear it, and my mother turned to me from the drivers seat. Looked me dead in the eye and told me to wear the belt or she would break my arm... And I knew she meant it. <3 mom.

I don't understand what the big deal is with

people and seatbelts. They're there for a reason. They're not there to annoy you, they're there to save your life and possibly the life of the person in the seat in front of you. It takes all of 3 seconds to belt up. I just don't get it. I can't even drive without my belt on, it...

The roads are just too congested to trust

that you won't have to stop abruptly somehow. It's just a shame people don't have seat belts on buses and trains, but I guess there is an economic reason overriding health and safety considerations.

The first think that gets effected in a car crash is your face and mine isn't the greatest looking to start with, so any damage would make it worse I think.

    Well It Saved My Life

When I was seventeen I was in a car accident where we stopped so suddenly I had a skinned mark on my neck from the seatbelt. I wonder what I would have looked like if I hadn't been wearing it and the windshield got its say.

I always wear mine, even taking the car out of

the garage. It's a habit that I formed at an early age, and it's something that has saved my life, as I could have easily been killed if I had been ejected from the car in a severe accident. The risk is too great not to wear one, since one never knows when a serious accident...

Ever since I was little I had always worn my

seatbelt. No matter what car and who the driver is, I always have. Nowadays I do it by habit. I always end up shouting at my Dad as he always drives off without putting his seatbelt on. He only does it when he sees a policeman wiz by in a car or someone else similar to one.

It's A Force Of Habit, But A Damn Good One

I've never been one to not wear my seat belt. It's always been a habit since I was a little kid. Sometimes I'll see cars out driving and kids jumping around in the backseat and I've never understood how the hell parents can let their kids do that. It's become such a habit...

I had a friend once who I loved.  She lost her parents to a car accident in her teens, so wearing a seatbelt was an important issue to her.  I have never been in an accident, and seatbelts aren't important to me.  But she asked me to wear one, and I always have.  I lost...

    I always wear my seat-belt.

I think it is very important to wear a seat-belt, not to mention that it is the law. When I was in my car accident, they told me that if I was not wearing my seat-belt I would not be here. So I always wear a seat-belt, its just safe, and the mature and right thing to do.

It's the law, but that isn't the reason I wear

my seatbelt. I have seen the results of being thrown through the windshield. Three people in a pickup truck. Two wearing seatbelts lived. One wasn't wearing one and she died on the side of the road.

    I always wear my seatbelt.

Every time I get into my MR2 or my Tacoma or any other vehicle I always reach across my chest with my opposite arm and pull the seatbelt across to the buckle. Recently, however, it's been difficult. I started working out a few weeks ago and my chest muscles really are sore. So...

    Safety First

It's a good habit to have. It's the first thing I do when I get in my car. I always put my seat belt on before putting my key in the ignition. When others ride along with me in my car I make sure they put theirs on before we leave anywhere!
