    Always

I have always worn my seatbelt. It's the first thing I do when I get in a vehicle. I have saw what happens when you don't wear it and I don't wish that upon anyone.

Never Going To Remove Seat Belt

I always wear my seat belt because I never know what will happen. One moment, I may be enjoying a peaceful drive on the road. However, the next moment, I could be in an accident. I would rather have a greater chance of survival than a slim chance. I probably won't be able to...

    Safety First

It's a good habit to have. It's the first thing I do when I get in my car. I always put my seat belt on before putting my key in the ignition. When others ride along with me in my car I make sure they put theirs on before we leave anywhere!

I don't understand what the big deal is with

people and seatbelts. They're there for a reason. They're not there to annoy you, they're there to save your life and possibly the life of the person in the seat in front of you. It takes all of 3 seconds to belt up. I just don't get it. I can't even drive without my belt on, it...

It's the law, but that isn't the reason I wear

my seatbelt. I have seen the results of being thrown through the windshield. Three people in a pickup truck. Two wearing seatbelts lived. One wasn't wearing one and she died on the side of the road.

I never did before very recently.

My father was in a very bad accident in which wearing his seat belt would have killed him. Being thrown from the car is the only thing that saved him. Recently though someone close to me actually extracted the promise out of me to always wear it. Since that day I have not...

I feel weird if I don't wear my seatbelt,

and it bugs me when I see other people not wearing theirs, especially if I'm in the car with them... I've never been in a car accident, but can imagine that flying through a windshield is not a very good feeling.

    I always wear my seatbelt.

Every time I get into my MR2 or my Tacoma or any other vehicle I always reach across my chest with my opposite arm and pull the seatbelt across to the buckle. Recently, however, it's been difficult. I started working out a few weeks ago and my chest muscles really are sore. So...

I had a friend once who I loved.  She lost her parents to a car accident in her teens, so wearing a seatbelt was an important issue to her.  I have never been in an accident, and seatbelts aren't important to me.  But she asked me to wear one, and I always have.  I lost...

    That'll Do It.

I was in a car accident two years ago. My mom and I would have both died if it wasn't for seatbelts. I religiously wear mine now. I annoy everyone in the car until they actually put it on, but sometimes all I get is a middle finger and a "**** you, mind your own business"

    Well It Saved My Life

When I was seventeen I was in a car accident where we stopped so suddenly I had a skinned mark on my neck from the seatbelt. I wonder what I would have looked like if I hadn't been wearing it and the windshield got its say.

The roads are just too congested to trust

that you won't have to stop abruptly somehow. It's just a shame people don't have seat belts on buses and trains, but I guess there is an economic reason overriding health and safety considerations.

I think it is very important to wear a seat-belt, not to mention that it is the law. When I was in my car accident, they told me that if I was not wearing my seat-belt I would not be here. So I always wear a seat-belt, its just safe, and the mature and right thing to do.
