I Am A 90s Kid

I was born in Stavanger in 1992.

I would like to see newspapers for the day, and learn about what else happened that day. I think the Nineties were a transitional decade.

Does anyone else think the 90s was the best era

ever? I would give anything to go back to my carefree childhood. Christmases that involved the entire estate meeting to show off their bikes and scooters and latest presents. Making dens till the street lights came on. Picnics, man hunt. I look at my kids and wonder where this...

Born in 1993, the same year

that homosexuality was decriminalised in the UK. I grew up in a changing era, still am. Hopefully NI will catch up with the rest of the UK though with the same-sex marriage bill, you know what I'm saying? It's only fair, like.

Does anyone remember Figure It Out?

This was one of my favorite shows...Some kids were amazing, but I can't believe I was so fascinated with some of the "talents" the kids on the show had... I wonder how they feel when they look back on it... or what they think if they ever watched it when they grew up...

98' I was there for about a year

and a week, but I like quite a bit from that era. I think I would've enjoyed it, my brother who is 10 years older thinks so too. Jurassic Park, Pokemon, Nirvana, Marilyn Manson, The Legend of Zelda, The Powerpuff Girls, Goosebumps, Lisa Frank, trance, raves, etc.

    I remember waking up

and running down the stairs. This would be followed by me running for my life through the house to get away from being licked by our family Boxer, Daisy! She always won, but once she got her face licks in, I would lay under the biggest blanket I could find and watch DuckTales...

    Since my country is not

as developed as European countries (or as U.S.A in this case) I've menaged to see what 90s kids see in early 2000s, thus I can say I am one. I happen to see Fox Kids era, old-school computer games (though not that really old), PSs, Nintendos and such...

    I was born in 1992. I can't remember much

about it! I was six in 1998, and I remember learning to write at school, the first time with a pencil writing my name. It was the first time my Jewishness was exploited.

Music in the 90's were great,

wish they produced songs like that still. Cartoons back then were better as well, the cartoons now are so beyond weird, its hard for kids to even relate to some of those shows that creep the heck out of me.

Man! GREAT times in the 90s!

Just thinking about the shows I watched. Digimon, Pokemon, Power Rangers! Kids today don't even have the experience of dial up internet, NOR do that have the experience of waiting for a page to load! I think looking back on it, between waiting for a web page to load and just...

Why do earlier 90's babies have to be

so obnoxious when it comes to later 90's babies knowing things? I mean, most late 90's babies know just as much as early babies... It's not like everything changed when 2000 came. Pfft
