I started tae kwon do in my freshman year. I'm a junior now, so I've been doing it for two years. Now, I'm a 4th keup (blue) and will be taking the test to get my 3rd keup in two days. I made it my goal to get my first black belt before I graduate from college.
Sadly, I have been out of practice for five years due to having babies. Its hard to practice with a very round belly.
I earned by black belt when I was 13. I earned by second dan at 17 and I am Kukkiwan certified.
10 months after my first story in this group, I am pleased to report that I am now a brown belt! So now, I'm going to try my hardest to get my 1st keup in the December or March testing sessions. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to get my first black belt ahead of schedule!
