I read more books than I can count.

I don't know when this started, and no one else in my family is really like this, but I read all the time. If you give me a good book I'll probably love you forever. In fact I just went to an independent book store the other day. That was a lot of fun. I spend way too much on...

when I'd rather read Than hang out with them, but my Sister (BFF) Chae and I will just share a look for a moment, and then we will both start reading, everyone else thinks we are so weird cuz we will start balling because a character that we love in a book just died.

    Some Really Good Books

I am an AVID booklover, and many times I find myself with a book so AMAZING, I just want to share it with the world, or burst at the seams. Now, when I try to share it, I realize many of the people I am telling don't care for books at all! So, to let this book be cherished by...

    Books Were My First Love.

Ever since a young age, I've been reading books. I have poor eyesight because I would read at night with hardly any light. I read a lot, constantly. There are few days where I go without a book. Books allow me to forget about worries/troubles and just focus on the story...

    Worming Your Way?

I can get lost in the pages of an artist's

imagination. Yes, writers are artists too, but of a different element. They have an understanding of words and how to pair them together so as to seem effortless and beautiful. They draw their readers in through their art of creative persuasion. I admire their talent.

    My history with Books

I have always loved to read; my love of reading may be due to the Pizza Hut book-it program, or the fact that I went to the library very frequently when I was younger. Whatever gave me my love of reading is largely irrelevant, but by 8 years old, I had been bitten by the reading...

    The Invasion Of Literature.

Don't know if any of you have read my last post called 'General Bookness', but if you have then you'll know I mentioned a book named Before I Die. Quite frankly, it's amazing. I finished it yesterday afternoon and was so ridiculously swept away by it that I decided to give it a...

    How It Started

When I was young my mum married the guy that she thought was the man of her dreams. It all went downhill from there though. She put up with hi physical abuse for 4 years. During this time I was threatened and shouted at all the time and slapped on more then one occasion. From the...

    General Bookness.

From a young age reading was one of my favourite pastimes. I'd sit for hours in my room reading every book I owned from cover to cover. When I turned six, I moved onto a broader range of children's literature - as far as I can remember, Roald Dahl was always my favourite. Charlie...

    The Beauty Of Books

When I was younger, I lived in a highly dysfunctional family. I did my best to distance myself from it. I did anything I could to get out of the house, and when that wasn't possible, I locked myself in my room. I blasted my music so I could drown out the yelling outside my door...

I always have more than one book on the go at a

I love adventure, historical fiction, science fiction, romance or fantasy. But I'd say the book I really love was my own, the ones I have written. Well, I am not yet an author of any published book (but if you count some on online sites maybe yeah). But I l like my own. It's my...

Not Much Better Than A New Book.

I love to read. I can honestly say that's one thing I've brought with me into adulthood, although I never quite left the fantasy world that young adult novels brought.  I am an avid YA reader, and it takes a lot for me to put down a book I enjoy once I've really started to read...

I love, love, love getting lost in a good book! I read everywhere--planes, trains, cars, beds, chairs, benches, mountains, deserts, beaches, cities, farms, pools, jacuzzis, tubs, backyards, front yards, parks, roofs, basements, attics, garages, sheds, everywhere!

and nights reading. Going from one chapter book to another as I finish them. When I go to the library I have to get the next couple books in all the series's that in reading because I can read so fast. Good thing I can manage to go to the library once or twice a week! :)

    I started liking books
