    I Remember...

    stores being closed on Sundays, S & H green stamps, mothers wore aprons in the kitchen, fans with bowls of ice in front of them to cool off, starch in the laundry, dresses and hats and gloves in church.....toasters from the bank, women in curlers smoking in the grocery store...

    Born in early 1939, I was almost a 'war baby'.

    Hit puberty in early 1953 and loved every minute of it. I am now the world's greatest expert on all facets of it. I have seen quiet a bit in 76 years.

    Topo Gigio
