    I love programming games,

I've been doing it since I was a kid. It wasn't until my early teen years that I started to get into it a lot more, but then school got in the way I let it go. However now, I've gotten back into it, and I really want to start making some great games. But see, the problem is that...

At the beginning of the month development on

project 1 was top priority followed by testing project 2, and developing project 3. Next week it was p2, p1, p3. Then last week was p3, p2, p1; and have p3 done in two days! Project Lead: "Can you have p3 done in 2 days?" Me: "It'll be closer to 2 weeks, there is a lot left to...

    Currently Retired And Obsolete

Started professionally April 28, 1969 although the first thing I did was take a course on the job in IBM Assembler. I had already taken COBOL before I was promoted. I would say most of the work I did in my first years was in Assembler although there was quite a bit of COBOL. It...

But it wouldn't get activated. Format the hard disk and install windows 8. Apparently nowadays the product key is kept in BIOS. So windows 8 was installed and activated properly without having to key in product key (like how it was in the past). Then upgrade to windows 10. So...

    I prefer dealing with computers.

You don't have to be politically correct to deal with them. They follow instructions precisely. They don't have bad working relationships with other computers. They don't talk back. And some of them are so hot, so they work in a cool environment.

It feels deeply cathartic. Like what I think people feel when they build things. I like building things too, but I am better at programming. I should program something now. It'll likely make me feel better.

    Been using the computer

since age 3 on my parents' Windows 95. Now I write personal scripts, mess with open source, and occasionally code if I know what I'm doing. Really fun stuff when you learn exactly how to add a feature or do something that you want that you normally couldn't!
