As a woman, do you really want to receive the

same treatment as a man? I now you want to be able to have the same jobs and get paid equally and all that. But would you be willing to sacrifice the equally sexist perks of being female? No one gives you special treatment anymore. You are now far less likely to get help from...

There was a time I, as a woman,

was blatantly misogynistic. I think all women have at least some internalised misogynistic thought, and we should aim to correct any harmful way of thinking, starting of course with ourselves. I'm still struggling with calling myself a feminist - not because of any problem I...

To me it is the law of equal liberty extended to

both sexes: every woman has the freedom to do all that she wills, provided she infringes not the equal freedom of any man. Each woman has an exclusive right to her personal autonomy, her labor, and her property (as well as the right to acquire property). This is Herbert Spencer...

    Men need feminism because,

until women are free, men won't be free, either. The badgering that society does to men -- to repress emotion, to be the bread winner, to be success objects -- is of the same monster born out of WASP patriarchy that is terrorizing our women. A patriarchal society is what...

Men at the top, women at the bottom. In order to reach true equality, we would have to meet at the middle. Women would only be risen slightly and men would have to be taken down a few pegs. Feminism wants to keep men at the top of the ladder but raise women to that height as...
