Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 12 People

    Ok y'all ranting time.

Who the hell do you think you are to say **** on our troops and how the wives and fiances and girlfriends aren't going to be there for them when they get home?! To top it off, YOU'RE NOT EVEN WITH A MILITARY MAN! So for you to sit there and judge me and tell me you don't know...

Today I take my state exam

for my medication aide certification and even though he's not here, I know he supports me and I know that I can go to him and tell him "I passed" and he will be beyond happy. I'm very nervous though, since it was very fast paced. I mean 14 chapters in 13 hours plus the clinical...

Ok y'all, I need some advice.

Did any of y'all ever have the pre wedding jitters? I love my man and he loves me, I'm not worried about is not working out, I'm worried about being 21 and being 1000 miles away from any of my family. The question always in my mind is an I going to be a good enough wife. Any...

14 more days until I surprise my Marine at the

airport. He had no idea and I'm so excited to see his reaction. Watching these homecoming videos really hit home and it makes me miss him that much more.

    So, planning our big wedding

for next year is stressing me out! We are getting married this Dec in the courthouse but doing our ceremony next year in traditional military fashion. Being a young bride comes with a lot of stressful moments, but I know it will be worth it when I can finally say, he's mine...

    In a military relationship,

getting married or engaged at a young age is normal because we might not have forever but we have right now. So we take it and appreciate it. That's why we decide to grow up faster and be the spouse of someone in the military. We choose to put things aside for our men who fight...

Ok, so I may get a lot of hate mail

because of this but it's the honest truth. I know we as military wives, fiances and girlfriends think that it's truly annoying for civilian girls to complain about missing their bf's if they don't see them for a few days. I get it because hell we go months and even years without...
