    Freethought Movement

The modern (read: western) freethought movement started during the end of the Renessance and the beginning of the age of Englightenment and has slowly died since then only to now make some resurgance as Progressive ideas are again rising in the minds of the people. The "motto...

Really? Well, I don't think we need one. but since we do, Happy FTD, everybody! I equate free thinking with open-mindedness, though I can hear my philosophy professors from college already, pointing out the differences. But free tinkers and people who try to see others' points...

Or at least I like to think I am.. I like to be open to new things.. New possibilities.. New encounters... And if I let too many things influence my way of thinking I wouldn't be able to grow as an individual... So.... I believe that being a free thinker is almost a must

Maybe I was born a free thinker. I certainly didn't like being told what to do or what to think from a young age. And I was very enquisitive. If something was happening and we were not meant to say anything in order to remain polite, I would say it anyway. My mum used to say my...

To Think Freely Is to Live Freely

It is paramount to be a free thinker in order to truely live freely. Many people I have met may live in a free country but they do not realise they are not free as they do not think for themselves. They are enslaved by linking their thoughts to those of others.
