    Planting.

The weather is mild here in the South right now. So I have just finsihed planting to blueberry bushes, two peach trees and some cherry hedges. Tonight they are getting some nice rain and then sun tomorrow. I'm hoping they will do well.

    Lol I shared this one

as I work as a gardener but all the XP's I see here are from hobbies. I've been doing it since I was 10 and started full time by 15. I had no place in school and my dad told me if I didn't go to school I'd have to pay rent and that's when I started working. I earned good money...

    Hello.

Hi, I just joined and wanted to say hi. I live in the south in a rich soiled valley with a nice water source. I love growing all kinds of plants and veggies. Lately I've been wanting to get into Bonsi growing. I'm still studying about it though. Because of the strange weather we...

    Weeds

I want to be taken care of, don't I? I want to be the garden. But, men have disappointed me. This garden has been neglected. It's been misused. It's been taken advantage of. It's been fed a diet of toxins. It's also been yelled at. And everyone knows you need to...

    It Begins

Where i live there are many gardeners, for food and hobby. The farmer markets are popular here. So.... when it comes time to plan your coming garden, everyone is .... "on-it" getting their seeds and supplies. Worse than Christmas rush or a blue light special! wow... I have my...

I have always been a gardener of relationships.

Softening people, making sure their needs are met, and that they feel validated and safe, this is just how I am. I take care of lovers I have been with, nurturing the relationship and help us grow together. Meeting someone with my same skill set has been amazing. We treat...

    Put On Hold . . . .

One of my passions in life is gardening. Planting a tiny seed and watching, caring for it till it's ...ripens or flowers. It is like loving and raising a baby. BUT . . . . This year, after 30 yrs of gardening, for the first time, i have "let down" my babies. My herb, flower...

I never cared till my first breakdown .

. and i had lost my job and the neighbours thoughtfully complained to my landlord that I had not cut my grass. I was fuming. I cut it with a strimmer when she had her washing out . . .hoping the bits might fly up and stick to her old pants and socks on the line. And while I...

Now I wait. ;-) Hundred of seeds are sown,

filling up all my sunny windows. From here on out, first thing each morning I will go see if any seeds are breaking ground. wow... I can't wait. It's so intense for me to watch something so tiny as a seed, grow and breathe. Oh happy days!

    Winter Daydream

I wish I could go outside and play in the dirt. Adore colorful blooms, smell sweet scents, just sit amongst them. I look out my window, seeing all I could be doing. Preparing for spring and all the new growth. The herb garden is totally out of hand. Must tame it down. Dug some...
