I've always been drawn to simple things.

I have dreams of living simplistically with just myself and music and love. I want to live with respect for the earth, animals, plants, and people around me.

    Hippie That Missed The Boat

I am a very free spirited person, who believes love is the cure; and war never solves anything.  Plus I really like Hippie fashion.  I love the bright colours and whimiscalness of it all.  I even make some of my own jewlery.  I would love to have one of those jean-shirts, but...

    Since Birth

My parents were wild hippies. They moved out to a tiny island in the pacific called Hawaii where they lived on my uncles coffee farm with no electricity. They later became teachers. I was raised on the beaches and along the streams of hawaii, such a beautiful place. It was an...

My out-of-this-galaxy sister Echo asked me a

question. " What happens when we get older? Do we still keep these values?" Dear Echo: Our values do change overtime. As we grow older, a lot of us sell-out to the system and settle for that. Does this de-value what do when we're young and wilder? In a way, yeah. The past...

    I've always been a hippie,

I guess. Ever since I was a younger child, I've loved nature, peace, singing, a more simple way of living and living honestly and kindly. I only ever really connect with people like me. I have a deep, spiritual connection with Mother Earth and I try to take care of her as much...

    I Was Born In 1967.

Peace and love, it wasn't a bad dream.

I wish we had more people who would dare to take up that dream now and drop out of this materialistic, militaristic, wealth worshipping society we have today. It true that they did not create a utopia, utopias don't exist, but we can get closer to that dream; we can become...

I Was Born Just A Little Too Late To Be Part Of The Movement.

I will have to try this again when I feel a little more articulate. But to start with, I think that Hippies were way more about being libertarian than the folks today who call themselves Libertarians (or as I call them "corporate dupes").  It seems that a lot of people in this...
