    Not Complaining D;

    I’m the middle child.  I have two sisters, one is 22 and the other is 11 years old.  Being the middle one can suck badly because I don’t get to enjoy my parents’ attention as much as my other two sisters do.  Their needs always seem to be above mine and my parents admit...

    I have an older and younger sister.

    I'm stuck in the middle and I hate it. My parents treat me completely different. I'm the one who always gets yelled at. My parents even forgot my 16th birthday because they needed to go pick up my sister from school. Sometimes I think my parents forget I'm here. I'm now 19 years...

    Growing up in my family I was a textbook middle child, completely lost in the void of family. My sister and I were born in the same year, exactly 11 months and 5 days apart..shhh trust me, I've heard it all!! No, birth control was not practiced, yes we are close in age...

    but I am seen as the middle child. I'm number 3 but sometimes i feel like 0. I wish I could stay in my room whenever I'm home. Sometimes I think my friends and uncle care about me

    I was always playing by myself

    as a kid because my older sister and younger sister joined up. So in school I had a hard time making friends. But now as I approach middle age and a failed marriage, I'm not afraid to be alone.

    My sister is 8 years older

    and my brother is 3 years younger. When I was born my sister was very disappointed I wasn't a boy so wanted nothing to do with me unless it was to make my life a misery with her practical jokes. My brother and sister sided with each other and I was the odd one out. Many times I...

    Being in the middle means planning around

    EVERYONE else in your family and being forgotten from time to time. But it also means that you help keep the peace because you are and older child AND a younger child. It's kind of a weird thing for me. I love and hate being in te middle at the same time :/

    We have all had a hard life

    but on August 12th we have a whole day dedicated to us middle kids. I know it's far from now but on that day no matter what let's remember that middle children often are more creative and think outside the box.
