I need your help! I am also a military brat

and currently writing an article for a university project about people like us! If you are okay in sharing, would people possibly be able to tell me their feelings about being raised in the army? You would be a massive help and I would really appreciate it Thank you X

    Father, uncle,grandfather,

two brothers, a few cousins..... obviously it runs in the family. That probably explains why some of my dates in high school didn't want to be introduced to my family.

Guess What Its Time to Move Again

Being a military Brat we had the same problems growing up as a non military brat but the one thing we could do every 2 years is start our life over.  Going to a new school, they had no idea if I was a geek in the last the school, or did something embarrassing that would...

my dad had me when he was only 18, so he's young enough to be active in the military - he's only 35. since my parents are divorced, i didn't have to move around with him that much, but i missed him more than anything when he was living far away from me. he went into the marine...

    Was A Military Brat

My mother was, unfortunately, a serial dater of men in uniform. My father was a marine so he wasn't much better. I always swore to myself up and down I'd find a nice normal guy with a desk job, something boring that didn't require moving ever. What did I do? I married a green...

I remember when I was very young,

my mother made some tape recordings for my father. What I remember about it is that when I spoke into the microphone (a small, rectangular box), I said "I wuv you." Another thing I remember is my mother making a picture by melting crayons and letting the wax drip onto the paper...

Lonely often but always exciting. I sailed on some of the most fascinating luxury liners, the USS United States for one, traveled extensively throughout Europe and in almost every State. My father, who was an officer was in Korea for a year while my mother and I lived in San...
