I Am a Mother

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 21,561 People

    I've been a mom for 25 years.

I tried to be a good mom but I have not been that good. And I've always known I needed help and I always hoped that God would help them in the areas that I failed. We pray their teachers would be wise, firm and kind. "The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the...

    Them Crazy Kids

I once served my kids toasted hot dog rolls for breakfast when I was too tired to make pancakes. This was shortly after my brother and I had a conversation about white trash at Wal-Mart, which our upper-bourgeoisie mentality deemed appropriate to spectate and judge. Later on...

Sure my children may not be here and are in God's kingdom now. But that doesn't mean they've never existed. Being pregnant is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I was quite young when I was pregnant, the first pregnancy I was 16 and the second one, I was 17. I...

"What's being a mom like?" Honestly, it's a lot like being responsible for tiny drunk people who constantly need your attention/ focus every four minutes. Best way I can describe it. Kids are definitely...a handful to say the least. But having them has made my life so much more...
