I Am a Mother

20 weeks and 2 days pregnant!

I am more than half way through this pregnancy:) I can't wait to see my little boy. Mommy loves you more than anything in the world, every time I feel your kicks or little movements it puts a smile on my face, and makes my day 100 times better.

Being a mother means having to say no.

A lot. No, you can't have another cookie. No, you can't turn left when the light is red. No, you have to wait since you passed the 2 entrances. No, you do not drive between gas pumps like you're downhill slalom. No, you can't go straight when you're in the left turn only lane...

I'm still a mother. No matter what people say.

Sure my children may not be here and are in God's kingdom now. But that doesn't mean they've never existed. Being pregnant is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I was quite young when I was pregnant, the first pregnancy I was 16 and the second one, I was 17. I...

I am honestly amazed sometimes at the lengths

my youngest will go, to not have her hair brushed in the morning. I was going crazy this morning looking for her brush everywhere and only discovered later in the day it had been 'hiding' in the kitchen drawer 😁.

    Somehow, I dare to say,

even your child, mine, or hers didn't make it to live with us; I do think that we still deserve the title. There is something, no one talks and knows about, and that is the feeling that finds a girl, settles in her heart and transforms her to a beautiful mom. It is a silent...

People ask me all the time.

"What's being a mom like?" Honestly, it's a lot like being responsible for tiny drunk people who constantly need your attention/ focus every four minutes. Best way I can describe it. Kids are definitely...a handful to say the least. But having them has made my life so much more...
