As a mother, it is very heartbreaking to see your child crying because of how itchy his/her eczema rashes are. I personally relate to this feeling

Using homemade remedies for eczema is a practical way for mothers to deal with their children's eczema - especially that many mothers are skeptical about using conventional treatments (steroid creams and ointments). They're cheap alternatives and they could help ease our children's discomfort during an outbreak.

Here is a blog I'd like to share to moms out there who are seeking homemade remedies for eczema. The remedies listed in this blog are really easy to make and requires very little resources from your kitchen  But my favorite homemade remedy for eczema - the oatmeal bath - isn't included in this blog. So... I'm just going to share it to you right here :)

First, prepare 2-3 cups of raw oatmeal if your little one is a toddler; 4-6 cups for young children; and 8-10 cups for older children. Using a blender, grind the raw oatmeal and place it in lukewarm water. Bathe your child in the lukewarm water for about 30 minutes, then rinse off your child with cold water. No soap please! This should help relieve your child's itching :)

i have had eczema my whole life since birth very painful for me its on my arm.... There are a few things that i do that are also safe for children and makes almost go away completely. What people don't under stand that eczema is an allergic reaction to different things detergents soaps etc. I suggest that you switch to organics detergent or detergents that are clean and clear with no dye of aroma dreft is also a great option. Also use dove soap to bathe since it is mild and also has moisture . and there is a great remedy too that my grandmother use to make for me when i was a kid, she would blend a whole aloe plant with real coconut milk and put it on my skin where it was inflamed leave on 30 mins before bath time. Than after bath she would drench me with cocoa butter cream. i hope this is helpful good luck.
