My husband and I are both from virginia beach and have been lucky enough to stay here for most of his career. He had been in for 11 years now and we have only been stationed to Hawaii for three years. I understand that we are lucjy to have ben able to start in one place for so long and that its where or family is. i just want to move! EVERYBODY that I talk to that had mived away from herr says the sage thing "i love to visit va but I would never want to move back" I just feel like we have a unique opportunity to live in other places and see what else is out there. The problem is thst we have kids. My husband was raised in a military family and had to move a lot and doesn't want that for his kids. I have lived in the same place since I was born (28 years). I see military families with kids moving all the time. My kids are 9, 7, and 4. I think that they would be fine adjusting to a move at their age. What has been your experience with moving with children?
