I love the night, and I always will. I love the dark and watching the stars, the nighttime animals. The world seems so much more peaceful at night, less busy, less rushed.

    Sun Sensitive Lives.

Hi, I am a wife and mother. I am also a nocturnal person. My daughter is sun sensitive, and my husband has sleep rhythm problems, and I have panic attacks around people I don't know. I came looking for a group like this because I feel very alone, even with my husband and daughter...

Nights To Sarah Maclachlan, Part 2

For us nightbreed, Sarah MacLachlan is our nightsinger... So is Enya,... but I'll get to her later... First time I figured her music for nocturnal was in 1998, wghen I first acquired her CD, "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy". It was on a night trip from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Jackson...

    Naturally Nocturnal

I have tried for YEARS to sleep during "normal" hours...never works... On an average night, I'll fall asleep around 11:00-midnight (litterally feels like I need a nap), then be wide awake and hungry around 2 or 3. I'll stay wide awake until about 7:30 am when it starts...

I don't know what I am supposed to include here. I am Lyrad Bakshi, which is Mr.Lyrad Bakshi to you. Or Sexy Wiggle Pudding, I don't care. I have been full time nocturnal for about 8 months. In the nocturnal hours, there is less crowd to contend with on the transit, and I am sure...

I enjoy the solitude of the night.

The moon above; the dewy grass below; the calm air swirling around... Night is the reset button for the chaos of the day. Coffee is really good, too.

    Sacred Nocturne

A little after the younger years of my childhood, I became a Nocturne. I was never one to fight my urges or desires or instincts, and this is what it had brought me. The night gives me something that the day cannot; that primal feel that I will not deny that I love. I feed from...

    Nights To Sarah Maclachlan...

Well now... What have we here but fellow nocturnals... Good to see... Sad that we're so far apart... I've been nocturnal seemingly most of my life... Since the advent of my teen years... Laying up in my bed at night, with nothing but my imagination taking me to other places...

It helps if you read the following story in a Walken voice: Hello....my name is Nathan...and I am nocturnal which is to say that I come out during the night....but mainly because I stay up a lot.... during the night. *Whispers* I have always had a fascination with the night...

I've Always Been A Night Person.

Even when I was little. Mom had to lock me in at night so Everyone could sleep without me running around.

    It's Funny

Some people PM me and ask "why are you up so late?". I say I am always up late! I am usually up until nearly dawn. I have always been a night owl. Even in the womb. I didn't start moving in there until 9pm. So my mom told me.

    I Love The Night.

I don't know how else to put it really.. I mean I have tried every method possible to switch hours around to be "normal". The doctors I've went to say I have no sleep disorders. No matter what I do the night sky seems to call to me tell me I should be awake. I feel comfort at...

    At Home At Night

It's nothing earth shattering. But I need the night time. It's like my time. My private time. To think and to be me. I like that it's only me at those times. There's little noise, little to distract. Nothing on TV worth watching. But now there's the internet and that can take me...
