    I am a perfectionist.

I want to do everything perfect & as quick as possible. The only problem is that I'm really lazy & I don't really bother to get round to doing the thing I want to perfect. A terrible habit that I should really get out of. ...I think the only "perfect" thing I've ever done is get...

The only time I actually do the perfectionist

thing, the only time I'm not that lazy, is when I'm sitting in a coffee shop. But then everything is organized and I flip out if it isn't. My room still looks like a tornado passed through.

    Me Too

I want to do everything just right. And I have great ideas and intentions. But some days I just am so overwhelmed and/or tired that I just want to lay in bed to read and nap. Glad to see I am not the only one.

I've had cases where I would procrastinate,

hence the laziness, and avoided tasks for fear they would come out way below my skills. A huge project on atomic bombs I ignored till about 3 days before the due date is a perfect example. I was worrying about how it would look bad, and how it needed to be good for me to care...

This probably describes me most of the time.

I had too many years of trying to be a perfectionist that I think it wore me down. No wonder I do not accomplish as much as I use to. Oh wait, I got it, it just takes me longer to finish projects because I want perfection. lol

    I know this is hilarious

and all, but this is so true for me. One example is my closet. I have this thing where it takes me an hour to get dressed to go through the drive-thru, and an entire afternoon needs to be cleared before an event. I'm pretty sure all girls do this, but I am really bad about it...

It's sooooo bad. I expect myself to get

everything right but I never put in the work to get the success. Then I just get mad at myself. It's an unhealthy cycle I can't seem to break.
