I can't even let myself be happy

because I'm so scared of losing the happiness. I just want to be able to enjoy life for once, but I know that will never happen.

Yup. Life sucks. It has ups

and downs. I occasionally (like at the moment) want to jump off a building or something. No, I'm not suicidal :D But I assume you probably know what I mean, if not then...whatever. Just bye I guess. I dunno. Anyways, at the moment I'm feeling down and lonely and depressed and...

How can I cry about something

that I already set the bar so low for? A pessimist that doesn't want their assumptions to come true. I hate that I know I'm right. Hey life can u do me a favor and prove to me that my predictions are wrong. Slowly I'm seeing my life turn into my parents. Drown me if that...

I'd like to call myself a pessimistic realist,

but apparently I'm downright pessimistic, if not cynical. Well, too bad I see things in that light, because ignorance is bliss...

    I'm a realist! When it's unbearable

and the pain is suffocating I tell myself "nothing lasts forever", then I'm suddenly fine. Thinking about death helps me sleep, I've even developed reoccurring images and nightmare about getting burnt alive, I could see myself lying there as a skeleton. When my dad told me I...

My best friend's life is my dream life.

I'm really jealous because he's an only child and he can get what he wants. My family struggles with everything and we have to get money off our other relatives. My dad created some much damage and going to leave. My best friend has no dad, but is able to get the latest games...

Truth in my life is nothing works out.

I'm stuck spinning my wheels and there's nowhere to turn. If I change course it will invite a whole mess of problems I don't wanna handle. Eminem says "How am I supposed to be positive when I don't see **** positive". I agree with that and I'm not in the mood to be fake, act...

In every situation I always find

and state the negatives. It usually just slips out or I mumble it. My friends always roll their eyes and ask why I can't just enjoy things and stop being so negative. But I feel like I only can see and think negative points.

I always look at the glass half empty.

I hate getting my hopes up and then falling hard when I'm let down. I feel like I can never catch a break when I need it. I try staying positive but honestly I feel like it makes things worse. There is a book I read titled "who moved my cheese?" Very useful and it's a quick read...

    They say you're a pessimist

if you see the glass as "half empty". Well, it's still accurate right? So even if we are being negative, we are still seeing it correctly. Optimistic people are also seeing it correctly, they are just saying it differently.

If you expect nothing from life, you might end up pleasantly supprised.

Not sure if it's still a simple pessimism

that characterize my thoughts and life, i think it's more like a panic fear about future, i feel blinded by the black sun that rise up in my life, i don't see anything but darkness and don't hear anything but wind blowing through the dead forests.

An upside to being a pessimist is you never get

your heart broken. You never expect anything to go right, so when it doesn't it isn't a shock to you. The glass is half empty, so we ration it and find some more water, accepting the fact that we are running out.
