I Am a Polytheist

Polytheists believe in many gods. This comes in many forms including Greek, Mayan, Norse, Celtic, etc. 66 People

    My Own Gods

This is a compiled list of the gods I have met and respected so far, as well as some information on each one. Some you have heard of, some have been gone a long time from the memories of man; others are gods still to come. These are my gods and goddesses. This is a list of those...

Oh how we need to bring polytheism into the

spotlight again. Unlike it's counterpart, so many people have benefitted from the exchange of ideals because of the concept of polytheism

    Only for the tactical potential.

Atheists can't debunk all gods, so they try and go after the biggest one and make it bleed. The domino effect won't work though. My decoy belief is for the off chance that it does set off a chain reaction by proving the most plausible deity and working my way up back to mine.

    Lonely Lokean

I've worshiped Loki as my patron deity for a year now, and I generally work with the Jotun gods of the Norse pantheon. I'm a hard-polytheist, and I also want to honor my ancestors as part of my practice.

I told my mom one day

that I wasn't christian, and she said I was atheist. So I look on google, and it turns out that I'm not. I told her (a few minutes ago) what I was and she just bombards me with questions. She's like" what's that? explain it to me, i don't know greek mythology? how was the world...

    Better word than most.

My wife and I have close theories. I think every spirit has a physical form. The ones we view as gods are planets stars black holes even nothing's. The knowlege of the most powerful is collective. All things living have a soul that soul is made of and feeds off energy. if you...

Something I am mostly closeted about

since I am active in the Jewish community where the spectrum of acceptable world-views ranges from monotheism to atheism but not in the other direction! Hoping to connect with others who feel / think Divine diversity.

"there Is Ever Love Only, Among The Gods, And Never Enmity Or Jealousy." Socrates.

As someone whose business depends on facts and how they are communicated accurately, from my experience I cannot imagine that anything related by humans about something significant that happened, could be precisely true or accurate if it were as old as say, three days ago...

To Be Every God Is A Universal Enlightenment

To be all that is True and Absolute is what I was taught was God. I don't know why, but, I'd want to find a kid who thinks and is on top of the world. I'd want to meet him, I'd want to say, KICKASS ME TOO.

We all go through childhood with a belief in a

world beyond this one, then as we grow we are bombarded by the belief systems of others. For some this is deafening, for others this is the beginnings of their faith for life. But some of us listen carefully to what the world tells us, and find our true private faith, which is...

I guess you an say that .

I am very open an agnostic when it comes to religion. I think its possible that all Gods are one or one manifests as many . I'm Christian but I have open beliefs because Allah is a lot like God and Jehovah so why can't they all be the same person. Why can't their be more than...

    Hard Polytheism

I'm a "hard" Polytheist, meaning that I believe that all the gods are individual beings unto themselves. In other words, I believe that Ishtar and Freya, for example, are two seperate beings, not just two sides of one generic "sex and war" goddess. To me, the gods and goddesses...

I believe that different deities rule different

aspects of nature. Like goddesses rule trees. I personally have a strong feeling that most forces are goddesses but there are gods. Though what concerns me, after research I still do not have an idea what I belong to. Which is frustrating. I guess so. And also the fact that I...

My Stories And Groups Are Only For The Enlightened Or Those Seeking Enlightenment

That way, we can keep a heart conscious unity of mind and soul. Otherwise my stories and groups may be, polytheist To some polytheism is a sin For others, non polytheism is dumb.
