    I've just started learning Python.

.. my plan is to master it and then move on to VPython. Is that the best choice for 3D Virtual Environment graphic design or should I try Unity or some other language first?

    Any Flex Developers Out There?

It looks like this group's been kinda dead, so here's something to try to kick-start it: Anyone out there do any Flex development? I'm starting to do some of it for work (I have a heavy Java background). So far I like it; it makes sense and the syntax is easy to understand...

An Idea For An Little Yet Interesting Development Tool Feature...

I think any tool geeks use should have a feature where you can highlight any text and with a right click make that text uppercase... Why? Database identifier names!  They are by convention uppercase to most people. But when I'm typing in TOAD or whatever, I don't want to...

Programming Question: Static Vs. Non Static.

I'm replying here cause a friend asked. His question was about C# which I don't know.... I'm answering from Java-only perspective. Maybe a C# programmer can add where I may be missing anything First of all this is from Java perspective but almost likely the same in C...

    Strong Typed Or Weaktyped Languages?

You got these programming languages like PHP where all variables are essentially "variants" (you can suddenly stick text in a variable that was priorly containing an number, etc, etc)... Though this can be convenient sometimes, it's not fun when you're looking at a...

And most people consider it weird because I'm a girl. Love programming since I was a teenager. I like to get into the details, in depth, therefore ASM is my pick. Don't like using compilers written by other ppl because I usually get limited by their bugs. Hate using code written...

    A Misunderstood Term

I think saying "I'm a programmer" is like saying you're "a grammatician" or "a linguist".. it's not very descriptive of what you do, or how you do it. It's all about the end product result. What do I do? In various stages of my life, the answer could be: * I'm an engineer...
