Its very normal right after signifigant aniversaries or mile stones (ie one month, 90 days, six months, one year etc.) to get cravings or "the heeby jeebies" as one person put it. Alcoholics are masters at sabatoging ourselves. We don't like things getting too good too fast. Keep ratting on your disease. it hates it when you talk about it and most of all GO TO MEETINGS!

Firstly i want to say how fab that you have been sober for 6 months I so understand how you are feeling, Please try to be kind to yourself. Dont let it get you. I have gone through hell because of alcohol in every way you could think of, when your an addict you have to make a plan of what to do when you start feeling like this, It took you along time to get to where you are i pressume so it wont always be easy just stopping. Try a aa meeting ,or take time and remember how you felt at your worst believe me you dont want to go back there, if you would like a cht pls if i can help in any way i will, have you got support? are you taking medications? Please belive me the feeling will pass just kp telling yourslf you dont need to drink and will find peace from this crippling disease lots of love
