I didn't run much until this year.

I finally got my 5k time under 20 min but then I got injured a few times in a row and had to stop, now I can't wait to get my trainers on and go for a jog, I just need to find someone who also want's a jog!

. Ran at the gym today and 40minutes felt like forever. Can't wait to hit the trails and get some mud on my shoes.

Ok runners....I was up to almost 5miles in an

hour, 3-4 times a week. Due to travel and weather for about 2wks I was only able to run 1 day a week. This week I've gone twice and have struggled to make 3 miles. Is this normal after only two weeks of not going regularly?

My surgery put a toll on my stamina

but I'm slowly getting back to my regular 4 miles. I missed the feel of life. I missed the struggle and reward. I missed the 100 degree weather and the dry desert sands I ran in after being isolated and sanitized to heal chasms where my organs where pulled out. I miss the sweat...

I am a D1 runner for Eastern Michigan.

I ran 4:14.42 in the mile in high school and was 1 second off being a state champ for wisconsin. My dream is to break the 4 minute mile and be among a hand full of people to so so. I am training very hard and doing about 70 miles a week.

When I was 50 I joined my local running club.

Now at the age of 58 I can run a mile in 6:20, a 5k in 21:30 and a 10k in 43:50. My training for the next year and a half will be geared to help me run a sub 6 minute mile when I will be over 60!

    Midnight Runner

I run at night. Originally this started because I was training in secret; I’d never run before, and didn’t want anyone to know what was going on if I quit. The program I did, called “Couch to 5k”, makes it clear right on their website that a high proportion of beginners...

Am I? I mean I run, mostly away

but sometimes I return. I run from places to places in more ways that the term run could encompass. But when does one become a runner? Is it when you decide that the casual jog isn't doing much for you any more? Or when u decide that the 5 k is too short?
