I Am a Sailors Girl Forum & Chat Board | I know I'm being selfish, but...

Ok...so my boyfriend is leaving soon and it's already getting difficult on me.  His family was going to come down the weekend he leaves (he's from VA, we live in Jacksonville, FL), but now they've decided not to, so he's going up there on a Friday and not coming back until the next Friday night...then, he leaves that Sunday...so I only have one day with him before he leaves for MONTHS.  I've decided to go with him when he goes to visit his family, partly because I haven't met them yet, but I have to fly back that Sunday because I work Monday.  I feel selfish, but at the same time I don't see it fair that I have to miss him for an entire week, then see him one day, then have him gone again.  I know his family loves him...but I hate that I have to be apart from him because THEY are deciding to no longer come down.  UGH
