    In Good Company

Very nice to be part of a group of more GRITS (girls raised in the south) if not raised at least part of the south. Nothing beats a souther girl with her cooking and way of talking; both melt like butter.

A good man is hard to find,

and a true Southern gentleman may be even harder to find. He is the standard by which Southern mothers raise their sons. Instead of saying, โ€œbe good so Santa will bring you presents,โ€ they say โ€œNow, son if you want to be a Southern gentleman than you need to act like this...

    When I Want To Be.

Let's get one thing straight right now:  I am neither prim nor proper.  I say words that are far worse than "damn, ****, and hell," and I drink my whiskey in public.  Most of my experiences as an adult are far from the lolling, idealistic, southern orchards and...

I am a southern belle, that's what all my yankee family calls me lol! My grandmother used to call me Scarlett all the time, I never knew why, until I was older and watched the movie.

    Not To The Core.

I'm born and raised Texas. My momma taught me how to be kind and gentle, yet rough and tumble. Most adults old enough to appreciate my manners really take a shine to me. I have manners in a way that instead of saying simply "thank you" I tend to say "thank ya s'much" and on...

I was born to great parents

and in the great state of Mississippi in the spring of 1964. I love being a Southern Belle. I am very much like my mother. She loved to garden, cook, and bake. I enjoy the same things.
