I Am a Stay At Home Mom

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 3,221 People

Yes, there are still some of us still out there.

I homeschool my sixth grade son, cook, clean, do the laundry, the whole nine yards. Yes, it can be monotonous, but I think about the type of life that I am providing for my son and am happy to be such a huge part of his life .

Hate It And Love It (the Former Way More Than The Latter)

Having run away from home with a guy, he then ended up becoming far more religious than my parents. So now I'm stuck married with two kids (oldest is 2, younger one is 9 months old), and stay at home. I don't have any education (anything I know is self taught), only just recently...

    Well, it's a sad day.

I just finished the last Reese's from my son's Halloween candy. Don't worry, he won't be devastated by mom eating his candy. He's only 2, and he couldn't have all that anyway.
