    There, Back and There Again

I'm originally from Texas, but moved away as a young teen.  Spent a decade in Florida and a decade in Colorado before finally coming back home.  I've been back 2 years now, and am slowly falling in love with the wide open spaces and big sky again...

    Almost Born, But Definitely Bred

Unfortunately, I was not born in Texas.  The only reason was that the closest hospital was in New Mexico.  9 miles, rather than 30.  But, I got here just a few days later and I've been here ever since. I live in the most beautiful part of the state.  The...

Texas Really Isn't a Bad Place to Be At All

No matter where I go texas is always going to feel like that little nook where I started. Its really a pretty good place, especially once you've been elsewhere. I only wish it snowed more here, I like snow.

    Houston Here

I moved to Texas from up north when I was 8 years old. Ilike livng in Hoston because of the warm climate, all though it does get way to hot in the summer. What I really like aout Texas is the state parks andte scnery when you get into the hill country

Being born in Texas and staying there 3 weeks

does not make one a Texan. Dressing in a cowboy hat and boots does not make one a Texan. Being Texan is something that runs deep. It comes from generations of hearty people who formed this land, farmed, ranched and drilled for oil on this land. Being born here is a beginning...

    Native Texan Here.

I was born in Temple (30-45 minutes North of Austin). I've lived in McGregor (outside of Waco). I grew up in Austin, which is where I'm currently residing. I'm hoping to move out to the country (preferably the Hill Country). I'd love to have an amazing ranch mansion with a guest...
