my bf left on feb 6 and got to benning to start basic on the 17th.   just wondering how long does it take to get thepacket with all his infomation in it about family day and graduation    i got his address a week ago in a letter he wrote me..

also just wondering is there any other girls out there where there love one is at Ft benning

 

My boyfriend leaves tomorrow morning for Ft Benning. :( How long did it take for you to get the first letter? 

 

My boyfriend is leaving today for Ft. Benning. He told me before we dropped him off yesterday that he MIGHT get a call during reception? was your boyfriend able to call you during reception? 

 

He left on Sunday and i got my frist latter and phone call the same day which was the saturday after we left so 5-6 days.. since he was out of recpition i only got 1 call and its been a lil over a week his mom has gotten 2 the second call wwas about 30sec long just said im at basic but im avg 2 letters a week... best thing you can do is write everyday it the only thing that me and OUR daughter are looking foward to everynight..

 

My boyfriend just took his flight this morning around 7 to fort benning... he is not really informed as to when he is able to write to me and i actually didnt know that they send out packets about there graduation and all... how can i find out about all that information.. i dont like being in the dark when it concerns to his bootcamp. 

 

I just got a call from my boyfriend who left yesterday for Ft. Benning and had his first day of reception today. He told me that that would probably be the last call for awhile. He also said that he is able to send letters from reception but I won't be able to send a reply. Then he said that he has heard from other soldiers that he will be able to start sending letters pretty frequently once he gets to Basic, too. And I'll be able to send a reply since he has an address there :) However, I know it can be different for each company and whatnot. 
Sorry but I don't know anything about that packet either. But I hope I helped a bit. :)

 

My boyfriend left last week and I have gotten a few calls in reception and he sent a letter to his mom. He said that he will give her the info to give to me to write him.. but I hope they come soon..

 

so my boyfriend has been in armor school for the past three months. Its been really hard sometimes but luckily i get to talk to him a few days a week. but he's going to be out on the field starting tomorrow through wednesday so I (obviously) wont be able to talk to him. He texted me last night but i didn't hear my phone so i missed it.
i hate not talking to him and sometimes the distance makes me paranoid and self conscious. i miss him like crazy and i don't know what to do...

so i'm not the only one who gets paranoid!!! thats a relief. i thought i was crazy think that he's gonna change his mind about us while he's gone. i know i'm wrong but sometimes i believe myself and its scary!

 

my guy called me twice from reception. its been a week since i heard from him, his mom was driving when he gave her the address the other day so she couldnt write it down and so now i can't write him until they let hiim call again and i feel so alone!

 

My boyfriend left for Ft. Jackson South Carolina about two or three weeks ago.. He was able to call me the first week being in reception and all, but than he started basic so he isn't able to use his phone. I recently got a letter from my brother who is in Ft. Benning Georgia and it doesn't have a return address, but i was wondering how long it'll take to receive a letter from my boyfriend? It's been two weeks already and im a little nervous not hearing from him.

My boyfriend left yesterday for fort benning, We've been dating for two years and the longest we've been apart is one day. I feel like i havent seen him in weeks.

 

My boyfriend left for fort benning March 5th and we've been together for four years.  In the beginning it was really hard, but as time has passed I've realized that this was an opportunity for us to appreciate the time we've spent together.  I learn to love him more every day and instead of being sad I am happy in anticipation of seeing him in 36 days. Rather than looking at it as a negative experience look at it as a time to reflect on all of the amazing times you've had together and appreciate every second you spent with each other. Keep you're head up, write as often as you can. stay positive...remember that hearing from you is what keeps him going.  I have no doubt in my mind that this will make you're relationship even stronger.  This experience is making me a much stronger person and girlfriend and I have never been more proud to be an Army girlfriend.  If you ever need to talk feel free to message me.

Thats where my boyfriend is going to basic in July. Hope the heat doesn't kill him :/  it better be a quick summer.

My boyfriend is currently at Fort Benning for the Ranger Assessment Selection Program (RASP) and will be there for a couple months before he gets his actual unit. Do any of you ladies know if your soldier can communicate with you while he is in this sort of training? He tells me that there is a "Blackout" period where he won't be able to have his phone or anything, but might be able to write letters. If any of you ladies know anything about RASP please let me know!
