I Am a United States Army Girlfriend Forum & Chat Board | Is anyones boyfriend stationed in Korea

My boyfriend recently left for South Korea for a year. I miss him dearly and have no idea what to expect. Any thoughts or past experiences would be appreciated. Still trying to grasp the fact that he's gone for a year. 

 

i'm about to be in the same situation as well! my boyfriend will be in korea for a year as soon as he graduates AIT, so i would love thoughts and advice about this, as well! 

 

Same here. I am a bit of a situation though. My dad is ill and I need to talk to my man. I called his chain of command and they all told me that he most likely dropped me and found a juicy. I trust my solider with all my heart. I don't trust the single men. I am paranoid about not talking to him. I just hope he is in the field and busy.

 

I hope he didn't find a juicy.  I have same situation. My man is deployed in army and I haven't heard from him in a while but neither has his family.  I think he's out in field but I'm going crazy.

 

My boyfriend left to South Korea in November.  We talk regularly via FaceTime and iMessage.  He is becoming a regular at a bar on base and on the weekends goes to Seoul.   This being my first time dating military and out first time apart, I am really worried that this will break us. 

 

My fiancé is to be stationed in Korea in February after he graduated AIT. He said there is a disease over there called "black syphillis" so if any of you want to be honest and scare your men at the same time tell them about that! It's a very contagious STI that there is no cure for, and if they get it they will have to stay there. My fiancé said they're like quarantining people that have gotten it.

 

In February my fiancé will leave for Korea for a year.. I'm in the same boat but I'm more optimistic than most because I've already gotten used to being away from him and I trust him 100% as does he trust me, so that makes it a bit easier for us I guess.
