I Am a United States Army Girlfriend Forum & Chat Board | Special needs kids and the army

My boyfriend leaves for boot camp soon and then we as you all aready to know its off to training. Both my sons are autistic and with my youngest having add. They are use to their dad who was in the navy being gone on deployments but even while he was deployed he was always at a computer. He was always able to call, skype whatever. Yet my boyfriend in about to leave for boot camp, and I want to keep them as involved in our relationship to a point as possible being that we will all be living together once he gets his duty station. Because it seems that snail mail is really all that I have while we are transitioning to said duty station does anyone have any advice on how to make it easier on the kids who are going to be trying to adjust to not only having him just gone but also having him not accessible in the manner that they are used to.
