I have actually been happy with Korea. Its our first station. Yes it does get frusterating over here.. but i truly believe that is going to start to change. Korea used to be a 1 year tour unaccompanied, 2 years accompanied.. now its 2 years unaccompanied and 3 years accompanied. I believe it will help! So many got into the mentality that "i am only here a year, why care" so no one really cared to learn their jobs. Now they are keeping the soldiers longer so i believe that people will actually start to care and things will get better! But i have had A LOT of fun here exploring Korea!

My husband and I will be moving to Korea this coming January. We've got about a month and a half to get ready for the move and we'll be using the other half month for travelling to visit family.  At first we were both reluctant to the idea, but now that we know we are going for sure, we've both grown to be excited about going. I've been doing a lot of research and the PCSing seems to be ok. I've never had to move posts with my husband so this will be my first time moving posts, as well as crossing the big pond. however we look forward to it now :) and hope to make new friends there!
