    Reunions of old Marine

and Corpsman veterans. I now know why men who have been to war yearn to reunite. Not just to tell stories or look at old pictures. Not just to laugh or weep. Comrades gather because they long to be with the men who once gave their best, men who suffered and sacrificed, men...

    A Marine Forever

I am not a former Marine until I die. I am not an ex-Marine, unless I dishonor the Corps. I am an old salt Marine, my service started over fourty years ago. The Marine Corps is in my blood, there is nothing I have enjoyed more in my life than being a Marine. I would still be an...

What an experience it has been.

I am going to be leaving soon and I can honestly say that I've had a wonderful time. I've seen a lot of places bonded with a lot of different people. The people I have had the opportunity to meet have been the best part. I really learned a lot about myself and learned what it...

    Amusing real life story.

I was doing a search here on EP to follow up on an interesting post on here about testicles. When I searched for all EP posts on testicles, the only pop up ad was a recruiting ad for the U.S. Marine Corps. Finally someone intelligent in government and in advertizing to know...

How difficult is it to deal with your PTSD?

I've been out service for almost 3 years and out of combat settings for 5 and I still can't shake it. Any suggestions besides therapy because I already do what the VA offers?

Oooorah!! It's a challenge everyday to stay

motivated, I hate being so pinned down by so many rules. If you're thinking about joining this or ANY branch of service, go for it! It's worth the commitment, just stay focused!

Once a Marine, always a Marine.

I was in active duty, and I'm grateful for the values of integrity, responsibility and hard work instilled in me that have served me well in my post-military life.
